A few weeks ago, Filipa Barros was awarded a travel grant by the European Society for Smell and Taste Research (ECRO) This grant supported her visit to the Karolinska Institutet (KI) and Stockholm University (SU) in Sweden.
On this trip, Filipa and some of her colleagues from the Emo|Senses Lab had the opportunity to get to know and discuss some of the work developed by world-renowned research groups in the area of human olfaction and human chemosensory communication, as well as to establish and strengthen their scientific network During the stay, it was also possible to visit the facilities of some of the laboratories of both institutions, which allowed contact with different procedures, techniques and materials used to study sensory processing in different aspects.
